WEEK 3!

 HEY EVERYONE!!!  

Wow has this been a crazy week. Let's just start by saying, I had a sinus infection, fun. I also have this bubble on my tongue and the doctor said it could be cancer but he doesn't think so...... It's okay mama don't worry!! :) but why and the heck would they tell me that?? Don't tell a girl she could have cancer when I don't have my mom or dad to cry too... NOT OKAY!! but they said when I get to Virginia that I might have to get it cut out and sent in to see what it is!! ahh........ idk! Anyways, yesterday I sprained my ankle playing volleyball.. hahaha so that's great!! But it's okay daddy, you will be proud of how strong I am being about it! haha :) It's just a little swollen and purple. When it happened, Elder Linde ran and got me ice! He is so great!! I absolutely love having him here!! But he leaves next week..... :( But it's been pouring rain here. It's so fun! One of my companions jumped in puddles all the way home, so funny!! So the elders here play a game called "playing the odds."  It's dumb but boys will be boys, and if you lose the game you have to do something stupid, like this one boy lost so he had to walk around all day with half a bottle of gel in his hair.  hahaha so funny!! :) Anyways Sundays are the best. It is amazing how strong the spirit can be! I can't wait to go to Virginia and spread God's word!! and change people's lives for the better!!! :) I scared the crap out of Hermana Henderson, I hid in a closet, and jumped out. It was probably the funniest things ever. Hermana Larson, she is so great!! I am making so many friends here, I don't want them to leave!!!!  She lives in our casa.  I will send you some pictures later!! We played volleyball during the rain, it was so much fun!! :)

I went to the temple this morning, seriously probably one of the most amazing times I have had at the temple!!! Yeah all in Spanish.  I understood a lot more than I thought, if you think its hard in English, oh boy... just try it in Spanish. hahaha so funny!! But I love this temple so much!! We go every other week! I took my patriarchal blessing in so I could read it in the celestial room.  Just imagine... everyone was staring at me cause I was crying so hard!  All my questions and worries, were answered!! It's so amazing! yo sé que la igelsia es veradero. Yo sé que el Espíritu santo es muy importante. I love this church so much! I know 100% that this is where Heavenly Father wants me!! I couldn't be more happier in my life!  I love this gospel and I love all of you guys!! I hope you have a great week!!

WEEK 2!

MOTHERDADDY!!!!!

Oh my gosh!! There is nothing more better than Thursdays...I love writing home to you guys!!! :) I miss you guys more than you know!!! I am doing really well! Surprise I only cry when I am emailing you guys!! sucks!! But so worth it!! But you guys can send me pictures whenever!! :) My companions are crazy. Red hair, Hermana Henderson from Alaska - we always have fun together.  Long hair Hermana Cutler- always spiritual - kind of hard to get used to. Very spiritual, hahaha which is great. So I'm in a trio! Its great!!! Hermana Gissemen is in my district she is great!!! I LOVE HER!  And then the girl from the airport Hermana Whittle!!:)  did you guys get my pictures..?? haha But I had the flu for two days.. throwing up, just like you did. haha but elder Linde gave me the most amazing blessing ever. He was so scared and shaky because it was his first blessing, but right after he lifted his hands off my head I felt so much better. It's amazing how blessings work so great!!! I love them!!! :) but for exercise every day, I play volleyball with my zone.. it is so much fun!!! I love it!! I block all the guys and they hate it.. :) hehehe,  but so every Sunday we are given a subject to give a talk about in church but we don't ever know if we are going to give the talk until sacrament starts, and only 5 people talk out of 25 people... I knew when I woke up I was going to talk. Everyone was like no you won't. And the first name he said to give a talk was me. hahaha. I was nervous but it was great. It was ALL in Spanish!!! :) hahaha sorry for all my mistakes in this letter. this keyboard is in Spanish. hahahah. Sundays are really the best!! I LOVE THEM!! it's all day full of the spirit... :) I love it! I miss all the kids so much... I'm jealous you see them every day. Make sure they know... I love and miss them more than anything!!!!! :)) Everything else is great!!! I love it here. and remember this is the HAPPIEST... I have EVER been in my life!!! I am so blessed to have the best parents in the world. THANK you for everything you and daddy have done for me!!! I love you guys so much!! I'll send you some pictures in a little!!

MAMA! DADDY!!!!!!! :)

and family!!

My PD is today, Thursday!!! I love you guys so much!!!! And miss you more than anything in the world! this is definitely the hardest thing I've ever done. Daddy thank you so much!!! I MISS YOU and hugging you and mama everyday!!! You stopped at swig!!! YAY! that's my favorite! YAY!!!!!!! hahahah that is so fun Millie and Ali are there at our house though!! OKAY. This CCM (mtc) is amazing!!!!! This is definitely where I am supposed to be! I love everything about it, the people are just the best!! The food.... well let me tell you, I already lost weight...... hahaha!!! so my daily plan, everyday... is wake up at 6:30 go to breakfast at 7:15 then study then have language study, then study, then eat then study and study then eat then study. Go back to our casa at 9:30 and be in bed at 10;30. MY GOSH!!!! it is always long days...but I'm going to go day by day. October 3, sorry Jayna and Matt, but happy anniversary, you guys are the best and such amazing examples to me!!! I'm very happy for all you guys do. ELDER LINDE. is in my zone!!!! It is so awesome he is literally so great!! We played volleyball. SO FUN. I killed everyone ;) heheheheh jk but October 4 we had to prepare a lesson for our first investigator. (FAKE) but still so scary. But it went great. Seriously Mexico is crazy.... THEY party ALL NIGHT LONG, and don't stop!! Played volleyball again. I learned how to pray and say my testimony in Spanish. YAY!!!!! October 5 was MUY hard!!! That night I was really homesick. I cried for like an hour in bed!! Cause I miss you guys so much!!! but it's okay! haha Conference was AMAZING!!!! I wish you guys could feel the spirit as strong as I do! I seriously didn't know it was even possible!!! October 6 all of us missionaries in one room.... most amazing thing in the world. All I do it cry from the spirit here!! hahaha So everyday I play volleyball with our zone...and I'm sorry but let me tell you.. the most amazing, cute missionary EVER!!!!!!! We talk all the time, elder Ewels he is going to El Salvador. He is AMAZING... anyways EVERYTHING is perfect!! I am absolutely 100% the happiest girl a girl could be!! This place is my favorite. Oh yeah today I WENT TO THE TEMPLE. AND WATCHED AND SAID EVERYTHING IN SPANISH. probably the most amazing thing ever!! I can't believe I actually did it. I understood a little but not too much. but hey it's okay, the spirit was still so strong. and I got to see the old film. haha yeah I'm glad they made a new one. hahahah!!! I miss all of you guys so much!!!! everyone of you guys. but uhm.. the mail takes about 2 weeks to get here... so for the last 2 weeks I'm here DONT sent any!!! haha I haven't gotten any mail yet cause it takes forever!! And I forgot the cord to my camera...... so I'm borrowing someone's but later I might have you send it, please ! haha but I love you guys so much!! Don't worry about me, I'm living my life!!! Please everyone pray for me though. Spanish is really hard. so I would love it if you guys prayed for me every day that I will learn Spanish! haha PLEASE!! I need all the prayers I can get! haha I don't like have any time. I'll send another email with just some pictures!!!

I love you guys more than you know it, there is not a day that goes by where I don't think about the best family EVER!!!

HOLA.

Thats all i know so far. ;)

I´m HERE!!! I made it! It is so amazing. The plane rides were really long and carrying my stuff around was probably to hardest thing ever. haha It was sooo heavy, I have blisters and my arm is dead, yay :) But mckenzie is great (The girl at the airport). I have been with her this whole time!! In dallas we met up with 9 elders and 11 sisters! It was so great being with all of them! We drove in a bus to the mtc and it was scary. Im so happy I don't have to stay here. haha people all over, in the middle of the road selling fruit and weird things. so weird. But it is beautiful here. houses on the mountain, different colors. So crowded people act like they cant drive. It's so weird how gross and scary it was driving to the mtc then pulling up it was so beautiful. But now we are here, safe and sound so dont worry! I got my badge, Ill send some pictures later. This is just a quick email to let you know that i'm here!! Seriously it's the best here! I love it so much already. Everyone is so nice here its amazing. Its funny to think this is my first email home. But i have to go meet my companion. I love you guys so much!! I miss you guys all already!!!

It's Official!

October 2, 2013

  As of last night around 8:00pm, Jaymee officially became Hermana Brugman.  

   She is now a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and is flying to the Mexico MTC (Missionary Training Center)!

  President Clason gave Jaymee a wonderful blessing after he set her apart as a missionary.
