Week 24

Friends & Family,

Crazy week this week! Transfer calls were made and I am staying in Elizabeth City, NC! But Hermana Bennett is leaving! When we got the call my heart dropped!! We have been together for 4 months and I will miss her so much! But I also can't wait to meet someone new! I love the people in Elizabeth city and I love the members!! SO I am glad to stay here a little longer :) But I am so excited to meet Hermana Hilton on Thursday! :)

I am so excited to for General Conference!!!!!!!  :)

The one thing that happened this week was hard.. Life being a missionary has its downs for sure but I love every minute of it! Our investigator that we had a date with just pushed it back a couple weeks!! But it's okay she will get baptized!! We had a really good strong lesson with her last night! I have never felt the spirit so strong. She has been going through a lot of problems her whole life!!! So I opened up the scriptures to Mosiah.. and turned to Mosiah 24:14 and it says, "And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulder, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions." This scripture couldn't be more powerful. As we asked her to read it she couldn't finish without crying!! (which then made me cry...) What a great blessing this is right here... Knowing that He will be there when you have troubles and afflictions. You are never alone.. He is always there for you in time in need! What greater blessing can you get!! I love that scripture so much, especially as a missionary because it gives me such comfort.. knowing that when I need help and guidance all I have to do is kneel down in faith and ask Him. I love this church so much and this gospel! I know the Heavenly Father knows and loves all of us! I know this is the true church! I know this gospel has blessed me and my family so much!!!! I love going to church EVERY Sunday!! I am so happy and I absolutely love my life :)
